Tuesday Up North Pride Week | LGBTQ+ Shorts

Laugh, cry, smile and be entertained during an evening of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ short films at the State Theatre curated to entertain, educate, and celebrate. Running time: 58 minutes. This event is proudly sponsored by Rainbow Rehabilitation Centers.

ERIN’S GUIDE TO KISSING GIRLS shares the story of an authentic girl-power duo. Erin, who tries to woo the coolest girl in school and Liz, who just wants to finish her comic book. Will the BFF’s be overcome by the daunting days of junior high, or will their tenacity and creativity outsmart even the toughest moments?

DO I HAVE BOOBS NOW?

While undergoing hormone replacement therapy in 2015, Canadian trans activist Courtney Demone launched the online campaign #DoIHaveBoobsNow. She documented her transition with topless photos and sparked a global conversation. One year later, she revisits her virtual journey with queer feminism and censorship in this documentary short.
