If you have, as a patron, experienced discrimination or other unsafe behavior from one of the people or businesses listed in our directory, please let us know by visiting our feedback form below.
Every business in our directory has agreed to a system of auditing that encourages our community to hold businesses to a safe and inclusionary standard. This system exists as a way to grow understanding, education, and resiliency around what is means to be a safe space to 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Traverse City’s 5 county region. All grievances will be viewed by our committee and board members only, and personal details will be kept confidential from the business. Each instance will be met with a corresponding action. Up North Pride will reach out to offer ways for the business to improve in their equity stances. Businesses who consistently do not meet our safe and inclusionary community standards will be removed from our directory.
