TC Central UMC Music Midweek Series

  • Central United Methodist Church 222 Cass Street Traverse City, MI, 49684 United States (map)

The 2025 season of the TC Central United Methodist Church Music Midweek Series concludes on a high note with a special appearance by Andrew Dost, Grammy Award-winning musician, member of Metal Buble Trio, and founding member of the chart-topping band fun. On Wednesday, May 21 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, audiences are invited to an unforgettable evening as Dost explores the powerful intersection of music and advocacy through performance and personal reflection.

His Music Midweek session will offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how music can act as both a mirror and a megaphone—reflecting social realities while amplifying messages of justice, inclusion, and empathy. All free-will donations at the Music Midweek concert event at 6 pm support The Ally Coalition.

This special event is presented in collaboration with the Reconciling Ministry of Traverse City Central United Methodist Church, a group committed to full inclusion, welcome, and affirmation of LGBTQ+ people in the life of the church and community. Prior to the performance, all are invited to a community meal in Fellowship Hall at 5:00 PM, hosted by the Reconciling Ministry. The theme: Breakfast for Dinner! The meal is free with a free-will offering, and gluten-free options will be available.
