Up North Pride is Searching for a New Home! 

In 2025, after 10 years as an organization, Up North Pride opened our very first Community Center in the old Copy Central building on 8th Street thanks to a very generous gift. We knew that the space would be temporary, but we now know we will be reaching the end of that timeline this Spring. 

Our home on 8th street has proven itself to be one of the biggest blessings to our organization and community. It has allowed us to expand in massive ways. In just 9 months, we have created more than a dozen weekly and monthly social programs, support groups and meetups, hosted meetings and events for some of our partners, opened a Free Clothing Closet, held monthly board meetings, made a space for our staff to work, and hosted our 2nd Community Listening Event. We know that having a space for all of these things and more is what will continue to support and drive Up North Pride into the future.

While we have started our search for a new space, we can use your help! Maybe you own, manage, or know of space that has a medium to large meeting space and office, or know someone who does. Maybe you own a business or are part of a non-profit also looking for a new home. Maybe you want to help us with physically moving out of 8th street when the time comes, or help us make our next home “homey”.  We want to hear from you! As we work on finding our new location, know that our monthly programs and events will be continuing and may have new temporary locations or partner spaces to meet, so please be sure to keep following the Up North Pride calendar, website, and social media pages for updates.
