The SEED (Spiritual Ethical Exploration and Development) program at UUCGT will be putting together care packages for kids and caregivers in the Twin Cities area, including art supplies, games, and self care items. The increased ICE presence and escalated tensions in Minneapolis and St. Paul have disrupted life for so many people, and we have connected with a group that is providing childcare and other resources for families in need.
Please check out the Sign Up Genius link for a list of needed items and register for whatever you are able to donate. These items will be used in the childcare program and also distributed to families for use at home. Donations can be dropped off at UUCGT (6726 Center Rd.) during office hours, Mon. through Thurs. 9:30-3:30, or left in the labeled boxes in the entryway outside of those hours. You can also bring them to the Up North Pride Community Center (314 Eighth St.) on Thusday, January 29th at 6:30pm. We will be packing boxes and writing more notes to the people on the ground in the Twin Cities that evening.
